April holds a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received Gordon-Conwell’s prestigious Division of Ministry Award in Clinical Counseling. She enjoys using a scriptural lens in working with transition in life issues, identity formation, anxiety, depression, communication and conflict resolution, forgiveness, and marital growth.
During the last 17 years, April’s ministry experience has included Associate Campus Director with Campus Crusade for Christ, overseas missions work for a year and a half, and currently church ministry at Capital City Christian Church where her husband Jon is the Senior Pastor.
April is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of North Carolina.

Tennille comes to "Life Unleashed with April Miller" with 8 years experience in broadcasting but this is her first time working in radio. Tennille spent 8 years as a television news producer for network affiliates in Florida, Michigan, West Virginia and in Raleigh. She's spent the past few years at home raising her two sons, Grayson 5 and Hayden 1. You can imagine the organization skills she's learned as a producer come in handy keeping track of two young boys.
Producing is always something Tennille's enjoyed doing and when she was approached by April to help with "Life Unleashed" it was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. Tennille helps with story ideas and other logistics of the show but also interacts on air with April and her guests each week.
Tennille is a Florida native and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications. During her spare time Tennille enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending time with her boys and husband Glenn.
